The solar energy recovery device consists of an outer window with outer frame (1), inset frame (2) and double glazing unit (6), in front of which there is a glass pane (5). In the period in which heating is required, the outer air flows through an aperture (7) into the space between the double glazing unit and the glass pane and on into the building after absorbing solar heat. In the summer, the air from the room flows out of the same aperture, from which the solar heat has previously been removed.
