PURPOSE: A structure for confirming a degree of contamination of an air filter for an air conditioner is provided to grasp an appropriate period for exchanging an air filter by simply confirming a degree of contamination. CONSTITUTION: A front panel(58) is combined with a front of a cabinet(52) for forming a front part of an air conditioner(50), and has a suction port(82) for sucking the air in and a discharge port(84). An air filter(60) is mounted at the suction port for filtering alien substances of the air. A suction grill(54) is arranged in front of the air filter to protect the air filter. A transparent window(62) made of a transparent synthetic resin is installed one side of the front panel to confirm a degree of contamination of the air filter.
