PURPOSE: A folding chair with a rotational backrest is provided to improve the structure of the folding chair to ease carrying and folding the backrest and the front part of the seat edge, and to enhance comfort of the chair. CONSTITUTION: The folding chair with a rotational backrest includes a backrest support frame, a sliding stick that slides into the backrest support frame, elastic parts on both sides, and a combined backrest and seat. Here, one end of each elastic part is connected to the backrest and the other end of the elastic part is connected to an arm rest on each side through a support string. Between those two elastic parts is a shading net. When the chair needs to be folded, the sliding stick is inserted into the backrest support frame and the elastic parts composed of the support string and the shading net are easily detached.
