<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust density with a simple and easy operation, and to provide image quality as a user demands. <P>SOLUTION: As for the image forming apparatus 10, gradation as the output amount of light beam of an exposure means is set and stored in accordance with the density of image data based on a prescribed conversion parameter by a LUT 50, and the density is adjusted by performing at least either of an operation of changing a potential for electrifying the photoreceptor 16 by a density adjusting processing part 46 at emitting the light beams from the exposure apparatus 20 or an operation of rewriting the conversion parameter of the LUT 50 in accordance with the potential change of the photoreceptor 16, and instructions to adjust the density is given to the density adjusting processing part 46 by a UI 44 in response to the input operation by the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
