<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, computer-readable medium and system for retrieving a similar confirmation text from a text database in response to a query. <P>SOLUTION: A search engine retrieves the confirmation text from the text database in response to the query. In the retrieval of the confirmation text, a search engine defines an indexing unit based on the query. The indexing unit includes extension indexing units associated with an index word from the query and the query. The search engine retrieves a plurality of texts from the text database by the use of the indexing unit defined as a search parameter. The similarity of each of the retrieved texts with the query is determined by the search engine, and the respective similarities are determined according to language weight in the query.
