<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the cable length at the digital interface of an industrial camera in a serial system where extension of the cable length is difficult as compared with a parallel system because a phase margin cannot be guaranteed. <P>SOLUTION: In the television camera having a digital interface performing serial transmission of digital data having a specified bit length, the digital data is distributed to at least two, the transmission clock is altered in inverse proportion to the number of distributing the digital data, the distributed digital data are converted to a plurality of serial data at a period equal to a specified times that of the altered clock, and then the plurality of serial data is transmitted in synchronism with that period thus ensuring the phase margin and the cable length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
