<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, an apparatus and a program for imparting musical sound effect for easily simulating characteristics such that the sound of a tape recorder is distorted. <P>SOLUTION: The method for imparting musical sound effect is composed of: a nonlinear converting process 225 of imparting a nonlinear saturation characteristic such that a variation in magnetic flux density becomes smaller as the absolute value of a sound-recording current increases to a musical sound signal and a filter process 228 of imparting, in magnetic tape sound recording, a frequency characteristic of attenuation of an amplitude at a high frequency to the musical sound signal converted through the nonlinear converting process in order to simulate a sound-recording head for sound recording to a magnetic tape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
