<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology means enabling circularly-polarized luminescence in a polymer system, enabling realization of luminescence by formation of large area and higher polarization anisotropic factor and thereby capable of simultaneously realizing linear polarization of light and circular polarization of light. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystalline conjugated polymer composition having luminescent circular dichroism is obtained by adding an optically active (chiral) compound as a chiral dopant to a side chain type liquid crystalline conjugated polymer.
