PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical writing device where a small spot diameter for realizing high density writing can be formed. SOLUTION: An optical scanning device is provided with a coupling lens 2 which condenses radiated luminous flux from a light source and sets it to be parallel luminous flux, converged luminous flux or divergent luminous flux, an optical deflector reflecting light from the coupling lens 2 on a deflection reflecting face and deflecting it in terms of conformal speed and a scanning image forming optical system condensing deflection luminous flux from the optical deflector on a face to be scanned as an optical spot. The optical scanning device which optically scans the face 10 to be scanned in terms of equal speed is provided with a probe 11 having a small opening whose opening radius is smaller than a light source wavelength for optical writing. Thus, the small spot can be formed on the face 10 and a satisfactory image can be formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
