PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which can form good images free from dark dots without causing fogging even after repeated printing, provides the freedom from an increase in the electrostatic charge quantity at and under a low temperature and low humidity, the long lifetime of a developer, the absence of contamination outside the machine, a good preservability, the absence of elimination of external additives, and high transferability, and has the adaptability to a cleanerless process and high-speed machine and an image forming method using the electrostatic charge image developing toner. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner contains metal oxide particles including at least a resin, coloring matter and≥2 metal elements.
