PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device and an air conditioner capable of preventing a failure due to disconnection and heat generation. SOLUTION: In this safety device provided with a temperature fuse 26 sensing heat generation of a heat generation body 13 preventing overcurrent of a compressor 3 and shutting off a circuit and the air conditioner, the temperature fuse 26 is attached to an insulation base 25 connected with a control board 12 by a lead wire, and the temperature fuse 26 is nipped and held by the heat generation body 13 and the insulation base 25 to prevent disconnection of the temperature fuse 26 due to vibration of the control board 12.
