PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor with excellent detection accuracy capable of providing a stable detection characteristic even if a temperature of used environment is varied. SOLUTION: The torque sensor 10 is provided with two pairs of wave form addition parts 30a, 30b for adding respective outputs and reference signal of detection coils 20a, 20b when an excitation coil 16 is excited; two pairs of phase comparison parts 36a, 36b for comparing the respective outputs of the wave form addition parts with the reference signal at a phase and outputting the comparison result at a pulse; two pairs of integration circuits 38a, 38b for D/A-converting the respective pulse outputs of the phase comparison parts; and a differential amplifier 40 for inputting voltage values Va, Vb obtained by voltage-converting in the integration circuit and amplifying the difference. Direction and size of the applied torque are detected based on polarity and size of the output (output voltage) Vout of the differential amplifier 40. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
