PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the generation management system of a CAD for easily understanding inter-generation related states, even when a plurality of related drawings are present. SOLUTION: A degree of relation and generation information between CAD drawing files is stored. When a display request is made, each CAD file is arranged by generation units based on the stored generation information, and icon-displayed.
