PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which achieves higher peelability. SOLUTION: Near the outlet of a nip part formed by a fixing roller 210 and an endless belt 220, a rigid body pressing member 238 presses a recording medium passing through the nip part in such a way that pressing force to both ends of the recording medium is made higher than that to the central part in the rotating shaft direction (X-axis direction) of the fixing roller 210 to enhance peeling performance and a peeling assistant member 262 suppresses curl of printing paper 42 in (-Z) direction caused by the enhanced peeling performance.
