PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance image quality in an image information recording and reading method and a device capable of carrying out both photographing of a cartoon and photographing of a still picture in a positive type and short-reading out system. SOLUTION: In the photographing of the still picture, a sufficient voltage not receiving an influence of fixing noise is applied and in the case of the photographing of the cartoon in which radiation (recording light) must be continuously emitted, since the intensity of the radiation (recording light) cannot be increased, a higher voltage than that in the case of the photographing of the still picture is applied. Thereby, in any case of the photographing of the still picture and the photographing of the cartoon, the image having good quality can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
