PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone terminal capable of enhancing an optional sound effect function of a user during a speech. SOLUTION: The telephone terminal attaches a effect tone to a speech by an operation during the speech and allows an opposite party to hear the effect attached speech, and is configured with at least: an operation entry means 11 for accepting an operation entry by a user; and an effect tone setting means 12 whereby the user can optionally set a relation between a pattern of the operation entry accepted by the operation entry means 11 and the effect tone attached when the means 11 accepts the operation entry of the pattern.
