SUPPORT FRAME FOR FURNITURE

A furniture support frame (10) comprises a plurality of support frame members (14) which are supported by a number of support members in the form of legs (12). Each leg is adjustable in order to support the furniture support frame (10) at a predetermined height. The furniture support frame is arranged to support an item of furniture, for example a kitchen or workshop unit, thereon. In particular, the present invention is particularly useful with items of furniture which require a level upper surface at a predetermined height. Once the support frame has been constructed and levelled then panels may be quickly and easily mounted thereon in order to construct the items of furniture. The panels may easily be removed and replaced in order to reconfigure the item of furniture. In particular, the present invention provides a modular furniture system which can be quickly and easily adjusted.
