The delivery of such as water, gas, electricity, air or data to a worktable [11-14] is made using retractable supply boxes [18]. These are mounted at the end on retractable arms [19] that can be moved relative to a ceiling mounting [20]. The system may be used in a laboratory for instruction with the instructor seated at one end [16] and the students on chairs [15].
