The jacking-up platform has two parallel flat carriers (e.g. 6a) and at least one spacer between them. This spacer is releasably attached to the two flat carriers. The connection of the spacer to the flat carriers may be self-releasing when relative movement of the flat carriers occurs. The spacer may be adjustable in length.
