<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and prevent the increase of vehicle weight by doing away with a motor for drive of a pump for pressure feeding of a refrigerant. <P>SOLUTION: A controller for a vehicle is equipped with a generator (2) coupled with the output shaft of an engine (1); and a motor (3) electrically connected via an inverter (7) to this generator (2) and a battery (8), and coupled with the drive shaft (4) of a vehicle. Further, the controller is equipped with refrigerant pressure-feeding pumps (11 and 14) which are coupled with the rotating shaft of the generator (2) so as to pressure-feed refrigerants, refrigerant passages (12 and 15) which circulate refrigerants pressure-fed by these refrigerant pressure-feeding pumps (11 and 14) aiming at cooling the motor (3) and the inverter (7), respectively, and heat exchangers (13 and 16) which are interposed in these refrigerant passages (12 and 15), respectively, so as to cool the refrigerants warmed with the objects of cooling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
