<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute contents such as musical pieces without overlapping. <P>SOLUTION: A data server 3 stores musical piece data etc., distributed to audio equipment in a database so that they can be identified by users. Audio equipment 1, sends a distribution request to a data server 3 together with a user ID, a password, etc. The data server 3 once receiving the distribution request decide whether or not there is a musical piece which is not distributed to the audio equipment 1 yet and distributes musical piece data etc., corresponding to the musical piece to the audio equipment 1 when deciding that there is the undistributed musical piece.
