<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for an image forming device which can cool a fixing device and paper at high efficiency and achieve suppressing of an increase in the cost and miniaturize the device. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 1 provided with the fixing device 7 and a paper ejecting device 8, a heat pipe 13 to transmit heat from the fixing device 7, a first duct 11 provided with a first flow path 12A to exhaust heat of the fixing device 7 by cooling a heat sink 15 of the heat pipe 13 by cooling air and a second flow path 12B to cool the paper of the paper ejecting device 8 by feeding the cooling air to the paper ejecting device 8 and the cooling device 10 provided with a fan 14 to form the flow of cooling air in the duct 11 are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
