<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an order input device wherein in order to perform operation for selecting one product on order among a list of orders assigned in a key board or a screen display, one hand holds the order input device and the other hand performs the operation for selecting the product on order and both hands must be free to input orders during serving for customers. <P>SOLUTION: A touch panel for operation is provided in a back side of a display surface of the order input device, and provided with a function for displaying a list of the first letters and a list of key words, and provided with a means for displaying a product being considered to be ordered on the basis of the first letter and the key word, which are displayed at a position of a cursor moving with the movement of a contact position of the touch panel, to select the product on order among the displayed products being considered to be ordered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
