<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium reading device and a recording medium copying device for previously preventing forgery of a data recorded medium and identifying the person trying to forge the data recorded medium. <P>SOLUTION: The recording medium reading device is provided with a data reading part 1114 reading data from the data recorded medium, a medium information reading part 1111 reading recording medium information from an information storing medium which is added to the data recorded medium and in which the recording medium information representing an attribute of the data recorded medium is stored, a reading propriety judging part 1112 judging whether data reading is permitted or not based on the recording medium information, a data reading controlling part 1113 controlling the data reading part 1114 based on the result of reading propriety judgement, a device identifying information storing part 1116 storing device identifying information for identifying a device and an information sending part 1119 sending the device identifying information and the recording medium information to a prescribed sending destination when data reading is judged not to be permitted by reading propriety judgement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
