<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the storage afterwards of data which are transmitted so as to be stored in storage equipment but not stored in the storage equipment. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined whether the DICOM data transmitted from a data processor 12 are stored in the storage equipment 20 or not. When it is determined that the data are not stored in the storage equipment 20, the DICOM data are stored in the data processor 12.
