PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which does not fall or leak from a developing device such as a developing roller even in long-lasting development to suppress contamination in an image forming apparatus and can yield an image of high image quality free from unevenness in image density and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is obtained by sticking fine calcium phosphate-based compound particles having a mean particle diameter of 0.3 to 3.0μm and fine melamine resin particles having a mean particle diameter of≤1.0μm to: the respective surfaces of toner particles including at least a binder resin and a colorant; or to coating layers formed on the respective surfaces of the toner particles by sticking inorganic fine particles. In the method for manufacturing the electrostatic charge image developing toner, fine calcium phosphate compound-based particles having a mean particle diameter of 0.3 to 3.0μm are added to toner particles including at least a binder resin and a colorant, the resultant powder is mixed by stirring, fine melamine resin particles having a mean particle diameter of≤1.0μm are further added, and the resultant powder is mixed by stirring.
