PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a finder device with which a finder image of bright and superior image quality can be observed in both an optical finder and an electronic view finder, and also to obtain an optical instrument equipped with this device. SOLUTION: The finder device is equipped with a liquid crystal panel arranged in a position or its vicinity where a finder image is formed, a light source means for illuminating the liquid crystal panel, an imaging device for converting an image formed by a photographic lens to an electric signal, and an eyepiece for observing the finder image formed on the liquid crystal panel through the photographic lens and the finder image displayed on the liquid crystal panel on the basis of a signal from the imaging device. The liquid crystal panel is designed to have a micro lens for each pixel either on the light incident face or on the light exit face. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
