PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt being properly engaged with a pulley by allowing a core wire to be displaced to a tooth part side by allowing a thermoplastic material of the belt melted in applying the thermal press to join the belt, to flow to the tooth part side of the toothed belt. SOLUTION: End parts of the toothed belt having the core wire buried in the thermoplastic material are butted in molds 10, 12 and thermally pressed, whereby the thermoplastic material is melted and the endless belt is formed. Here, a space S for allowing the thermoplastic material to flow in thermal pressing in the molds 10, 12 is formed at the tooth part 4 side of the toothed belt 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
