PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of reduced deodorizing-sterilizing effect due to being unable to use a large deodorizing-sterilizing device having the sufficient effect, because of the need for enlarging a cleaner body for constituting the deodorizing-sterilizing device inside the cleaner body or because of the need for miniaturizing the cleaner body having the deodorizing or sterilizing function, in a cleaner having the deodorizing or sterilizing function. SOLUTION: This cleaner has the cleaner body 11 having a suction port 12a and a cleaner installing table 14 incorporated with the deodorizing device 30 or the sterilizing device 31 and having an installing table vent hole B28. The cleaner body 11 is constituted so as to deodorize or sterilize the inside of the cleaner body 11 by communicating the suction port 12a and the installing table vent hole B28 when set on the cleaner installing table 14. Thus, strong deodorization or sterilization can be performed without enlarging the cleaner body so that a safe vacuum cleaner superior in the deodorizing or sterilizing effect can be realized.
