[Also in Division C3] A pliable container for packaging of liquid chemical products made of flexible and ductile poly-(chlorotrinuoroethylene) material, the material comprising a proportion of polymers solid at ambient trmperature and a proportion of polymers liquid at ambient temperature adapted to plasticize the solid polymers, and prevent embrittlement of the material and the amount of any polymer fragments or constituents volatile up to 150‹ F. being less than 0À5 parts per million of the total weight of polymers may be prepared by combining the solid and liquid polymers and heating under reduced pressure to leave the stated proportion of volatile constituents. The container may be formed from sheets, webs or a tube of the material, sealed as by ultrasonic welding to form a sack or blister. |
