PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a mode register while a burst mode is being used. SOLUTION: When an operating mode is set during a burst mode, it is transitioned to a standby mode (M3) of a nonburst mode temporarily. Then, when a command is inputted with a prescribed sequence similar to the nonburst mode, it is transitioned to a mode register set mod (M7) and setting of the mode register is conducted.
