PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera realizing the stable opening/closing operation of a lens barrier. SOLUTION: The camera is equipped with a lens barrel 2 having a photographic lens and moving forward and backward in an optical axis direction between a collapsing position and a photographing feasible position, the lens barrier 32 arranged in front of the photographic lens and opened/closed with respect to the photographic lens, a barrier opening/closing means for making the lens barrier 32 perform the opening/closing operation, a barrier interlocking means constituted to move the lens barrier 32 from a closing position to an opening position by the barrier opening/closing means with the movement of the lens barrel 2 from the collapsing position to the photographing feasible position, and move the lens barrier 32 from the opening position to the closing position by the barrier opening/closing means with the movement of the lens barrel 2 from the photographing feasible position to the collapsing position, and a first biasing means 5 for biasing so that biasing force in a closing direction may be given to the lens barrier 32.
