PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cut off vibration transmitted from a transmission when an operating rod is operated while preventing the abnormal enlargement of the operating stroke of the operating rod even at the sudden gear change. SOLUTION: This connecting member for a cable type operating device connects the other end of an inner cable 18a connected to the transmission, to the operating rod 17 provided in a cabin. The connecting member is provided with a cylinder 31 with a head plate 31b mounted to the other end of the inner cable 18a or the operating rod 17; a piston rod 32 inserted through a hole 31e formed at the center of a bottom plate 31c, and mounted at its proximal end to the operating rod 17 or the other end of the inner cable 18a; a piston 33 provided at the tip of the piston rod 32 and accommodated in the cylinder 31; and an elastic body 34 of ring shape interposed between the periphery of the piston 33 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder 31 to maintain the piston 33 almost at the center of the cylinder 31. The elastic body 34 is formed to be elastically deformable so that the piston 33 abuts on the head plate 31b or the bottom plate 31c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
