PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork capable of increasing the rigidity simply without any change from the conventional arrangement. SOLUTION: The front fork structured so that a car body side tube 1 and each wheel side tube 2 are fitted to each other slidably and that the body side tube 1 is coupled with the car body through an upper bracket 3 and an under-bracket 4, wherein a collar 7 is fitted on the body side tube 1 and is composed of a cylindrical body 7a, one or more horizontal planes formed on the top of the body 7a, and one or more taper surfaces 7c/7g or curved surface 7f continuing to the horizontal plane(s) 7b, through which the collar 7 is abutted to the bottom surface of the under-bracket 4.
