PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable printer capable of printing easily and appropriately. SOLUTION: Print data is transmitted from an information processor to the printer 1 and a user prints the print data in the passing range of the printer 1 by sliding the printer 1 on a printing surface. Consequently, the print data can be printed easily and appropriately by means of the printer 1 equipped with no sheet feeder. Since pixels conforming to specified requirements are printed depending on the position of a dot head even if the printer 1 is moved manually on the printing surface, print results are not distorted even if the printer 1 is not moved exactly in a specified direction at a specified speed resulting in easy and appropriate printing.
