PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steaming device easy in maintenance, capable of securely keeping the tightness of a steaming chamber. SOLUTION: In the steaming device 1, a body 2 for introducing food or foodstuff, etc. into the inside has a lid body 4 for opening/closing an opening 3 formed on the top surface of the body 2. When the opening 3 is closed by the lid body 4, the lower surface of the lid body 4 is supported by both side parts 5 of the top surface of the body 2. Receiving grooves 7 extending along the edge of the opening 3 and opening upward are formed on both side parts 5 on the top surface of the body 2, and water-tight projection parts 8 to be inserted into the receiving grooves 7 are made to project from the lower surface of the lid body 4.
