SYNCHRONIZER OF MANUAL TRANSMISSION FOR VEHICLE, FOR PREVENTING NOISE IN REVERSE SHIFT

PURPOSE: A synchronizer of a manual transmission for a vehicle is provided to reduce noise and improve durability by easily contacting a friction member attached on a reverse brake ring with an inside of a reverse brake cone member fixed to a case and fixing a shaft in shifting reverse. CONSTITUTION: A synchronizer of a manual transmission for a vehicle is composed of a clutch hub(3) spline-combined on a shaft(1) to rotate integrally with the shaft; a sleeve(5) engaged and mounted on an outer peripheral surface of the clutch hub to move axially; a clutch gear(7) selectively engaged with the sleeve at the side of the clutch hub; a speed gear(9) integrated with the clutch gear; a synchronizer ring(13) performing a clutch action in synchronization on a cone unit(11) formed on the inside of the clutch gear, in particular the sleeve; synchronizer keys(15) arranged circumferentially on the outside of the clutch hub at regular intervals; a synchronizer spring(17) disposed in a groove formed by matching the inside of the synchronizer key and the outside of the clutch hub to support elastically the synchronizer keys; a nut(19) combined with an end of the shaft at the other side of the clutch hub to limit the movement of the clutch hub; a reverse brake ring(21) rotating together with the synchronizer key and selectively moving; and a reverse brake cone member(23) fixed and installed to a case(25) to stop the reverse brake ring by contacting the outside by the movement of the reverse brake ring.
