<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize deterioration of reception of uplink control signals, even if the number of uplink control signals is increased, by measuring the multiplex number of downlink control signals in a radio terminal and determining the transmission power of uplink control signals which include NACKs, according to the multiplex number. <P>SOLUTION: According to the transmission power determining method in a mobile communication system, which is composed of radio terminals 10 and 11 and a radio base station 20, when radio communication is performed between the radio terminals 10 and 11 and the radio base station 20, the multiplex number is determined only by the radio terminals; and the transmission power of upward control signals is determined according to the multiplex number. In this way, the transmission power of uplink control signals is controlled by the radio terminals. Even if the number of uplink control signals is increased, deterioration of reception of the uplink control signals is minimized and process in the radio base station will not increase for making appropriateness of the transmission power of the uplink control signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
