PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm panel ID information without disassembling an active matrix display device.

SOLUTION: In the active matrix display device (100), a plurality of light shielding parts (42) are constituted of a plurality of first light shielding parts (42A) shielding light having prescribed intensity and a plurality of second light shielding parts (42B) shielding light having intensity lower than that of the light shielded by the first light shielding parts (42A) and the respective second light shielding parts (42B) are disposed corresponding to switching elements (12) connected to pixel electrodes (11) showing previously set prescribed fixed form patterns.
