<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device of a translucent reflection type which is bright in both of a transmission display and a reflection display. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided on a TFT array substrate with a plurality of data lines 6 and a plurality of scanning lines 3, TFTs (Thin Film Transistors) 30 connected electrically to the data lines 6 and the scanning lines 3, a reflection layer 29 disposed to cover at least the top of the data lines 6, the scanning lines 3 and the TFTs 30, and pixel electrodes 9 consisting of transparent conductive films disposed on the upper layer side of the reflection layer 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
