<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular knitted fabric knitted as a fine gauge and suitable for hosiery products and underwear. <P>SOLUTION: This fabric is formed by using needles, and the needle has a hook formed at the tip end part of a needle shank and a latch mounted on the needle shank under the hook as rotatable for opening and closing the hook, and is equipped with a curved plate for bending the stitch under forming by the needle toward a perpendicular surface of the adjacent needle and a needle cam reciprocating the moving between positions having an interval in a first and second perpendicular directions. The fabric has a fine and dense background having small closely-spaced holes, enabling a highly accurate pattern suitable for a wide range of underwear and hosiery products. By the density and minuteness of the fabric, it is possible to achieve both comfortableness and prevention of seeing through required for this kind of many clothes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
