PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience when car navigation equipment is caused to make route guidance to a destination. SOLUTION: When destination data are inputted to a portable key 1 used to start a vehicle 2 to run, the destination data are transmitted from the key 1 to the car navigation equipment 7 which makes the route guidance to the destination indicated by the destination data inputted from the key 1. When the driver of the vehicle 2 inputs the destination data to the key 1 before getting in the vehicle 2, the driver can cause the navigation equipment 7 to make the route guidance to the destination indicated by the inputted data.
