摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of a magnetic head using a sintered substrate by providing a marking method to a sintered body that can improve a recognition rate of identification information. SOLUTION: The marking method to the sintered body comprises a process for preparing the sintered body 60 formed by mixed powder including first powder particles made of first material and second powder particles made of second material whose etching characteristic is different form that of the first material, and a process for forming a first recessed part area with both the first and second powder particles etched on the surface of the sintered body 60 and having a depth of 10 nm or more and a second recessed part area with the first powder particles etched selectively under the first recessed part area and writing the identification information on the surface of the sintered body 60 by using the first and second recessed part areas.
