PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a private branch exchange system with high convenience wherein a call can reach the system by using any of new and old extension numbers regardless of even when the extension number is changed and the propriety of the arrival of the call using the old (before change) extension telephone number can be set. SOLUTION: The private branch exchange system is configured with a private branch exchange 2 having a storage device 6 for storing extension number information JN to its storage area 6a and a controller 7 having: a call connection control means 10; a parameter output means 11; a flag setting means 12; a count means 13; a delete means 14; and a notice means 15, with a base station 3 contained in the private branch exchange 2, with a maintenance terminal 4 contained in the private branch exchange 2, and with extension mobile phones TEL1 to TELn for making wireless communication with each other via the base station 3.
