WORKING ARM OF CONSTRUCTION MACHINE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working arm of a construction machine reduced in weight while maintaining the strength of the working arm. SOLUTION: In the box-type working arm in the construction machine composed of side members 16 oppositely arranged, back members 17 provided to upper sides of the side members 16 and web members 18 provided to lower sides of the side members 16, and strength reinforcing plate members 20 corresponding to high stress places acting on the side members 16 are fixed to the side members 16 constituting the working arm by welding lines 21 correspondent to main stress acting on the side members 16.
