PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front end boring unit for a foundation pile improving the custody/transportation efficiency of the foundation pile and reducing the manufacturing cost of the foundation pile. SOLUTION: After a pile body composed of a steel pipe or a concrete pile or the like has been conveyed to a construction site, the front end boring unit is simply mounted to the lower end of the pile body. The front end boring unit has with such a constitution that a boring enlarged wing 2 is fixed to the outer circumference of an outside bushing 1 having an inside diameter and a predetermined length outside fittable to the lower end of the pile body and that it is used by fixing a state that the outside bushing 1 is outside-fitted to the lower end of the pile body B by a proper fixing means. When the pile body is made of the steel pipe, a fixing method such as welding, screwing, pin-stop or the like is used as the fixing means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
