PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder and an inkjet recording method in which occurrence of unevenness can be surely prevented in a recorded image. SOLUTION: When an image is recorded, a pattern being used for correcting ink ejection is recorded at first (step S11) and then the density of the recorded pattern is measured (step S12). Subsequently, a correction factor is called from a lookup table by comparing a measured density with a default value (step S13) and a correction factor is determined for each inkjet nozzle in each inkjet head (step S14). In the recording head, ink ejection from each inkjet nozzle in each inkjet head can be adjusted by correcting the image data corresponding to each inkjet nozzle based on the correction factor (step S15).
