PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new-structure straightening device effectively performing a straightening work of a saw body in a band saw even if the stress is large in the width direction of the band saw. SOLUTION: In a first roll 16 and a second roll 18 disposed in the both sides of the band saw 20 and pressurized by the both surfaces of the band saw 20, the outside diameter of the first roll 16 is set smaller than the outside diameter of the second roll 18 and the central shaft 36 of the first roll 16 is positioned frontward in the feed direction of the band saw than the central shaft 48 of the second roll 18. A third roll 52 is disposed frontward in the feed direction of the second roll 18 so that the band saw 20 is pressurized from the same side of the second roll 18 by the third roll 52.
