PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening tool having high positioning precision and a fastening rivet by establishing the fastening method having high positioning precision at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the method for fastening members which caulk-fasten by setting the fastening rivet 21 into a hole on the one side of the fastening member 22 and a hole on the other side of the fastening member 23, push-in deformation is given to the head part 31 of the fastening rivet 21 by deforming the fastening rivet 21.
