The invention relates to a device for producing heat from fats or oils by combustion. The inventive device contains filtering means (16, 18) for removing foreign matter in the form of solids and contains a burner (24) inside of which vegetable or animal fats or oils can be combusted in an exothermic reaction. The inventive device is characterized in that a cold flame reactor (20) is provided between the filtering means (16, 18) and the burner (24). Means (12) for heating the fats or oils are provided. The inventive device is used in a machine having external combustion, containing a burner arrangement (20, 24) for producing a hot gas (26), a heat exchanger (28), which can be subjected to the action of a hot gas while vaporizing a working substance, and containing an expansion machine (30) for expanding the working substance while performing work. A generator (32) can be provided for generating electricity. |
